I love food from all over the world. And love sharing what I cook, with gatherings of friends and dear ones. I believe in a balanced life – cooking mostly healthy food, occasionally indulging in some deliciously rich dishes. My recipes here are inspired by travels and time spent in diverse places around the globe, childhood in Bangladesh, life in NYC. Food is intricately bound with our memories – when I think of a food or dish, I’m filled with memories of people, place, season, mood… So this blog is also about creating and living memories, and the stories I associate with food. In order for my recipes to be useful, I’m sharing techniques necessary for that authentic good taste, especially for Bangladeshi dishes. I’ve adapted some recipes here for special diets.
